⚡️ Worker configuration

In this article, we will examine the connection, the names of the workers, and the principle of operation.

In order for the pool to understand which ASIC is sending solutions and where to credit the reward, each device must be assigned a name (worker). In this article, we will figure out how to do this correctly.

How to set a worker name?

In the Username or Worker field of your miner's settings, you need to enter the following combination:

Account.Worker

account is the name of your account that you specified when registering on Headframe.

– The dot is a required separator.

worker is any name for your convenience (for example: antminer1, 001, garage_1).

Rules and restrictions

To ensure that statistics are displayed correctly, follow two simple rules:

1. Use only Latin letters and numbers.
2. Do not use special characters: @ & ₽ \ | « » " !.

If you have multiple devices

You can connect an unlimited number of ASICs. We recommend giving each one a unique name so that you can track the status of each device separately.

Example settings for three devices:

– mycrypto.01
– mycrypto.02
– mycrypto.03

Can I give them all the same name? Technically, yes. But in this case, they will be combined into one worker in your personal account. If one of the miners goes offline, you won't know which one needs attention.

Why can't I see workers in the statistics?

If you have just turned on the equipment, don't panic. The data in your personal account is not updated instantly.

– Waiting time: It usually takes 5-10 minutes for a worker to appear on the dashboard.

– What to do: If the statistics are empty after 15 minutes, check that your login is spelled correctly and that there is a dot in the ASIC settings.

– If you are sure that everything is spelled correctly, write to our support team.

Recommendations

Even if you only have two devices, always use different names (for example, worker1 and worker2). This will save you hours of time when searching for a faulty cable or power supply, as you will immediately see in the application which device has dropped in hashrate.
