⚡️ Stratums: Choosing the right protocol

Where to connect ASIC

📋 Addresses for configuration

Copy the desired address and paste it into the URL field of your miner.

Option A: Standard TCP connection (Recommended for most users)

 stratum+tcp://gate.headframe.io:3010
 stratum+tcp://gate2.headframe.io:3011

Option B: Encrypted TLS connection (for bypassing restrictions)

stratum+tls://tls-gate1.headframe.io:3010
stratum+tls://tls-gate2.headframe.io:3011

Important: Always specify the 3rd stratum! Use any third-party pool as a backup option. If an emergency occurs on the main line, your ASIC will automatically switch to the backup, and you will not lose income.

🛡 What is the difference?

TCP Stratum (Standard)

– Essence: The simplest and fastest protocol.
– Pros: Minimal ping, no unnecessary delays for encryption.
– Cons: Data is transmitted “as is,” which in rare cases allows the provider to see your traffic.

TLS Stratum (Protection)

– Essence: Connection inside an encrypted tunnel.
– Pros: Complete confidentiality, bypassing port blocks, protection against interception.
– Cons: Higher ping than on TCP stratums.
