The hash rate is lower than expected. What should I do?
Mining is a probabilistic thing. The hash rate can vary at any given moment, so you need to look at the average value for at least a day.
The hashrate indicator for the first 15 minutes shows that the equipment has started working properly. Therefore, you cannot compare this indicator with the one displayed in the ASIC web interface.
You need to compare the indicators for at least 24 hours.
Discrepancy between the hash rate on the pool and the ASIC values.
When the declared hash rate on the pool and the actual value on the device do not match, there may be several reasons. Before contacting support, it is recommended that you perform the following checks:
Device operating time: make sure your device has been operating for at least 24 hours. Analyze the graphs on the pool:
– Graph for the last 15 minutes: it will show when the ASIC started working with the pool and sending balls to the pool.
– Graph for the last hour: it should show stable ASIC operation.
– Graph for the last 24 hours: it will reflect the hashrate, which should be close to that stated in the device specifications.
Rejects
The normal reject value is 1-3%. If the reject value is above this range, check the stability of your internet connection.
Number of HW errors (hardware warnings)
The normal value should not exceed 100 per hour. If the value exceeds the norm, check your equipment.
If all of the above items are normal and the problem persists, you can contact us and we will help you.
