You can organise your workers into groups — for example, by container, site or test bench. Each group shows at a glance how many workers are stable, unavailable or disabled, what the group’s hashrate and reject rate are, and when the last data came in. That makes it easy to see which site has a problem.
Below we explain how to create a group, add workers to it and work with the list in group view.
What a group row shows
On the Workers tab, switch the view to By groups — each group appears as its own row, showing:
the group name;
a status bar: green for stable workers, red for unavailable, grey for disabled;
the share of the selected status in the group — for example, what portion of the workers is currently unavailable;
worker counters in the Workers column: stable, unavailable and disabled;
hashrate for 24 hours, 1 hour and 15 minutes;
reject rate and chart;
last data: when statistics last arrived from the workers in the group.
If half of a group’s workers or more are unavailable, the share is highlighted in red.
Hashrate, reject rate, counters and the status bar in a group row are always calculated for the whole group, even when a status filter or search is applied to the list.
How to create a group
Open the Workers tab and switch the view to By groups.
Click + Group.
In the New group dialog, enter a name — up to 50 characters.
Click Create group.
The name must differ from your other group names, and case doesn’t count as a difference: "Container 4C" and "container 4c" are the same name. If a group with that name already exists, a warning appears under the field.
A new group is created empty — the next step is to add workers to it.
If you don’t have any groups yet, you’ll see the No groups yet screen with a Create first group button. Until then, all workers in the account are in Ungrouped.
How to add workers to a group
A single worker
Click «···» in the worker’s row.
Select Move to group….
Choose the group.
Several workers
Select workers with the checkboxes. As soon as you tick the first one, the filter bar is replaced by an action panel showing how many workers are selected.
Choose the group in the panel.
Click Move. The button becomes active once a group is selected.
To select every worker that matches the current filter, click Select all N — this includes workers that aren’t visible on screen. You can then untick individual rows.
Your selection is kept when you scroll the list, move to another page or collapse groups.
From the group menu
In the group’s «···» menu, select Add workers. The full worker list opens with that group already selected in the panel — just tick the workers and click Move.
After the move, a notification appears: "N workers moved to …", with an Undo button. If the move fails, the notification offers Retry, and your selection and chosen group are preserved.
To take workers out of a group, select them and click Remove from group — they return to Ungrouped.
Two list views
The Workers tab has a view switch:
All workers — the full list of workers. A worker’s group is shown as a label under its name;
By groups — the list of groups, with workers expanding inside each one.
Workers that aren’t in a group yet are collected in Ungrouped, which is always shown last in group view. An empty group also stays in the list, with a grey bar and dashes instead of numbers.
Click the arrow in a group row to expand it. The first workers in the group are shown, and the rest load as you scroll. The arrow in the table header expands and collapses all groups at once.
You can sort the list by group, hashrate and reject rate. Sorting also applies to the workers inside expanded groups.
Status filter in group view
The status filter selects workers inside groups; it doesn’t remove groups from the list. With the Unavailable filter, for example, each group keeps only its unavailable workers.
groups with no workers of the selected status collapse into a single row: "N more groups without unavailable workers". Click it to expand them. They collapse again when you change the status or the search query;
Ungrouped and empty groups always stay in the list;
with the All status, no share is shown in the group row.
The status counters above the table take the search and the group filter into account.
Search
Search finds workers by name, not groups by name. In group view, the number of matches appears next to the group name and only the matching workers remain inside. Groups with no matches collapse into a row: "N more groups without matches". Ungrouped and empty groups stay on screen.
How to see one group’s workers as a list
A group doesn’t have a page of its own. Instead, in the All workers view you can turn on a group filter — it appears in the filter bar as "Group: name". To turn it on, click the group label under any worker’s name.
To clear the filter, click the cross next to it.
Managing a group
The group’s «···» menu offers:
Rename — change the group’s name;
Add workers — open the full worker list with the group preselected;
Remove workers from group — return all of the group’s workers to Ungrouped. The group itself stays;
Delete group — delete the group. The workers aren’t deleted: they return to Ungrouped.
Before a group is deleted, and before its workers are removed, you’ll see a confirmation with the number of workers affected.
Group chart on the dashboard
On the dashboard, the Show chart selector lets you choose which workers the chart covers:
All workers — the whole account, as before;
any group;
Ungrouped.
Each option shows its number of workers. Your choice affects the chart and the income tiles for each period. The balance being processed is always calculated for the whole account and doesn’t depend on the selected group.
Who can manage groups
Viewers (read-only access) can see groups, filters, sorting and charts, but can’t create groups or move workers: there’s no + Group button, no checkboxes and no «···» menu for them;
if an operator manages your workers through Control Hub, you set up the groups yourself. In the client card the operator sees a worker’s group as a label but can’t change it.
FAQ
What happens to the workers if I delete a group?
The workers stay where they are — they return to Ungrouped. Their statistics aren’t lost.
Why is a group still in the list when I filter by status?
The filter works inside groups, not across them.
Why is the group’s hashrate higher than the workers I can see after filtering?
The numbers in a group row are always calculated for the whole group; the filter only hides some of the workers.
